Overview
An adventurous to the southwestern part of Uganda will take you to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park; the park is one of the smallest parks with the biggest reasons to visit Uganda. This is where Golden Monkeys and mountain Gorillas trekking in Uganda can be done, these are the two most endangered animals in the world over. The Nyakagezi gorilla family is the only one you can find in this national park, the group has 9 members including the silverback as the leader; in the park, you can have a chance to see forest buffalos, forest elephants, bush pigs, leopards, jackals, duikers, and bushbucks. Bird watching in the park is also another impressive adventure with about 178 to 184 recorded species of birds.

DAY 1 : Transfer to Mgahinga National Park
Have an early breakfast and you will be picked up by the safari guide to kicking start your three days gorillas’ safari with the transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National park with lunch en-route at Mbarara town. Upon arrival at the park check-in at the lodge for Dinner and overnight.
DAY2 : Gorilla Trekking Day In Mgahinga National Park
Immediately after your early breakfast, make sure that you have your packed lunch and enough water, have a short drive to the park headquarters for briefing about the dos and don’ts of the Gorilla trekking conducted by the Uganda wildlife authority ranger guides. Then start your guide tour into the forest where you may spend approximately 5 hours in search of the habituated Nyakagezi gorilla group because their movement is unpredictable, upon reaching them you will spend 1 hour with them observing, learning about their behaviors, and photographing. After gorilla trekking, you will transfer back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.
DAY 3 : Transfer To Kampala
On this day, after your relaxed breakfast, you will embark on the transfer to Kampala or Entebbe via the equator line with an en-route lunch in Mbarara Town
